FSIN Chief candidates announced

First Nations people in Saskatchewan will elect a new Chief during the Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nation’s (FSIN) fall legislative assembly on Oct. 28 and 29.

The candidates for Chief are: Helen Ben from Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation, Bobby Cameron from Witchekan Lake First Nation, and Leo Omani from Wahpeton Dakota First Nation.

The office of First Vice-Chief will be acclaimed by current FSIN Interim Chief Kimberly Jonathan

Dutch Lerat will be acclaimed 3rd Vice-Chief.
