Family of Kimberly Cruickshank still looking for answers in disappearance
After one woman’s body was found in Regina, the mother of a different missing woman is making one more plea for answers.
Brooklyn Moose-Sabit was missing for months before her body was found in an attic in Regina last week. The case is not considered criminal at this time, but the provincial coroner is investigating and her family will get some answers.
Brenda Cruickshank is starting to give up the hope of ever getting a similar chance. Her daughter, Kimberly Cruickshank, disappeared on March 22, 2013. She was last seen in her apartment on the 2400 block of Abbott Road.
“It’s horrible that it happened. It’s horrible for a family and it just brings everything about my own daughter back,” she said in a phone interview from her home in Ontario. “I just feel knots in my stomach that it happened to someone else.”
