Family of Kimberly Cruickshank still looking for answers in disappearance

For two-and-a-half years, Cruickshank has been waiting for answers, but she isn’t hearing any new information from police about the investigation.She does not believe that she will see her daughter alive.

“I just find it hard to have any hope of that, especially at this point. It’s been so long,” Cruickshank said.

In April 2015, her other daughter Kristen Cruickshank revealed that her sister knew Clayton Bo Eichler, who is facing murder charges in the deaths of two other women dating back to the fall of 2013. Kristen Cruickshank said police have told her that they are looking into a possible connection, but they have no evidence.

Choking back tears, Brenda Cruickshank said the hardest part is not having any answers.

“It’s been a nightmare and it is with you every waking moment of your day,” she said. “Sometimes it comes to you when you sleep and there’s never any good thoughts about it, just nightmares. Not knowing is the worst part. Not knowing anything.”

She still struggles with grief, taking it one day at a time, but says she can never move on with her life.

“It’s better to know what’s happened, I think,” Cruickshank commented. “But closure? Well … she’ll always be gone.”

Her message to the public is to ask that anyone who knows what happened to her daughter to please come forward to police.
