Prince Albert Minor Football will be hosting a Pass, Punt & Kick Competition open to boys and girls age 9 to 14 on Saturday, September 26th from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Diefenbaker School field on Branion Drive. It’s FREE to enter at www.pariverriders.com, and participants could WIN an expenses paid trip to the last Roughrider home game of the 2015 season!

No previous football experience is required.

There are separate boys and girls divisions in three age categories; 10 & under, 12 & under, and 14 & under. Male and female winners of each event in each age group will advance to a regional final, which will be held on October 3rd, also at Diefenbaker School Field. Regional winners advance to a Provincial Final in Saskatoon on October 17th. Provincial winners will receive an expenses paid trip to the Rider game on October 24th, where they will be presented with plaques during the pre-game program.

The Pass Punt & Kick Competition is sponsored by Football Saskatchewan, SaskTel, and the Saskatchewan Roughriders. For over 40 years, Pass, Punt & Kick competitions have promoted basic football skills through schools and community organizations throughout the province.

Even though the competition is a FREE event, competitors are asked to register in advance at www.pariverriders.com, so that organizers can plan for the resulting size of the participating group.
