UPDATE:Accident near Crutwell claimed one life

Shellbrook RCMP responded to the scene of a serious two vehicle collision near the community of Crutwell Tuesday afternoon.

At approximately 2 p.m., a semi and a car collided on Highway 3 about 25 kilometres out of Prince Albert.

The driver of the semi a 70-year-old man from Regina was transported to hospital in Prince Albert with undetermined injuries.

A 78-year-old man from Lloydminster was pronounced dead at the scene. His family has been notified.
