James Smith Cree Nation Sports Days a big hit

The annual Sports Days event at James Smith Cree Nation has been running for over 100 years.
The community attracts visitors from all over for the two day event.
“It just brings a lot of happy faces to our membership,” said Chief Justin Burns.
Pony races, a slo-pitch tournament, a horse shoe toss and a demolition derby were just a few of the scheduled events this past weekend.
