Team Sask 3rd overall at Summer Games
Team Saskatchewan is showing the rest of the country what they can do at the Western Canada Summer Games in Wood Buffalo, Alta.
Team Saskatchewan’s medal count is now 75 after three days of competition. That puts them third overall, behind Alberta and BC.
Prince Albert’s Katelyn Lehner won silver Monday morning in the women’s long jump event. On Sunday, she won gold in the 100 meter hurdles event. Lehner is also the points leader in the Heptathalon event with three events to go.
Local judo athletes have been tossing their weight around.
