Saskatoon man makes wish to see the ocean before going blind
Daniel Lundy has just returned from a trip he’ll never forget for the rest of his life.
Lundy went with his family to Victoria, B.C., to see the ocean.
While many people many take this trip for granted, seeing the ocean up close was extra special for Lundy. Lundy suffers from a degenerative eye disease called retinal pigmentosa. The disease affects his peripheral and night vision. Eventually there is a very good probability he will lose his eyesight all together. Lundy’s wish before that happened was to see the ocean.
“Through my faith, there are so many parts of it that people use the ocean to describe just how big and how powerful things are and I really wanted that imagery,” said Lundy.
