Last season wasn’t a one-off for Josh Manson.
The 23-year-old Prince Albert product signed a two-year extension with the Anaheim Ducks of the NHL, after playing 28 games with the big club last year.
According to Ducks beat writer Eric Stephens, it’s a one-way contract that will pay Manson a total of $1.65 million, or $825,000 each season.
There is still one year left on Manson’s entry-level contract, so this new contract will kick in to start the 2016-2017 season.
