Accused pool vandals released from custody

The five people accused of vandalizing the Kinsmen Waterpark Pool Thursday morning, have been released from custody on strict conditions.

On Friday, 19-year-old Johnny McKay and 18-year-old Daniel Ratt, both from La Ronge, made their first court appearance along with 19-year-old Devon Ratt from Prince Albert.

Two 17-year-olds were also charged in connection with the incident.

The five are accused of breaking into the pool area, tossing chairs and benches into the pool and trashing an ice cream vending machine.
