Missing soldier located
Military officials say a soldier who was missing on the front lines of the fight against wildfires in Saskatchewan has been found.
The Third Canadian Division issued a tweet Monday night saying the soldier was found at 8;30 p.m. local time “following extensive search.”
Lt. Derek Reid, public affairs officer for Third Canadian Division, says the soldier was found “in good condition” but did not provide further details.
Reid said earlier the member of the Immediate Response Unit became separated from his co-workers that afternoon.
