Driver dead after morning collision outside of P.A.

The driver involved in a car accident on Saturday morning has been found dead.

Just after 9 a.m., Prince Albert RCMP, the Prince Albert Fire Department and Parkland Ambulance responded to a one-vehicle accident on a gravel road off of Highway 11 and Highway 2 south of the city.

Two people were in the vehicle when it went off the road, through the ditch and into the fence line.

The male driver was dead when authorities arrived and the passenger, also male, was taken to hospital with injuries.
