‘Hooligans’ vandalize Tisdale cemetery: official

The recreation and parks manager for the Town of Tisdale said he is disgusted that someone would vandalize the community’s cemetery.

Sometime between June 26 and June 29, nine headstones at the cemetery were either tipped over or damaged.

“These are in the older part of the cemetery like early 1900s, I don’t even know if some of the family is even around anymore,” said Dwight Olson.

Olson said the costs for the repairs fall on the families, but he adds the families should hopefully have insurance.
