Living Canadian flag created in Regina
Canada’s national flag has been around for 50 years, but on July 1 in Regina, there was a new take on it.
Dressed in red and white, 500 people came together to make the Canadian flag on the legislative grounds.
With festivities going on all through Wascana Park, organizer Gwen Jacobson was thrilled with the turnout.
“Today was a huge success. Quite honestly when we started doing this we were thinking maybe 300 [would participate],” said Jacobson.
