Cause of young woman’s death remains uncertain

With the autopsy for Danielle Nyland underway, the RCMP is not yet stating the nature of their continuing investigation into the Prince Albert woman’s death.

The 22-year-old woman’s body was found Friday night in a wooded area east of Shellbrook, about 500 metres south of where her cellphone was discovered last week.

Nyland had last been seen in Shellbrook the morning of June 8, and was reported missing to RCMP on June 10.

She had attended a social gathering in Prince Albert that Sunday night, June 7, and was also seen by friends leaving Movado’s with a group of people.
