Law enforcement unite in P.A. after Edmonton officer death
A community event for Prince Albert’s regional law enforcement workers came only a day after news broke of an Edmonton officer’s death.
Cst. Daniel Woodall, 35 was an eight-year veteran of Edmonton’s Police Service, and was shot while serving an arrest warrant.
The mayor of Edmonton’s emotions boiled over as he cried at a news conference on Monday. Woodall was the father of two boys, one six years old, the other four.
“I feel this most deeply as a father of young children, and I’m incredibly sad for them and for Mrs. Woodall,” Mayor Brian Bowman said.
