2 hurt in 4-vehicle accident near Blaine Lake

A four-vehicle accident on Highway 40 near Blaine Lake left two people with non-life threatening injuries on Wednesday evening.

The accident happened approximately five kilometres east of Blaine Lake. The injured people were taken to Shellbrook Hospital.

Blaine Lake and Shellbrook RCMP were at the scene as of 10:30 p.m., and traffic was being re-routed in both directions.

According to the RCMP, drivers can expect delays on Highway 40 for the next several hours.
