Prince Albert powerlifters finish strong in Calgary

This past weekend three athletes from Prince Albert attended the GPC Western Canadian Powerlifting Championships in Calgary.

Jessica Buettner, Cameron Preymack, and Michael Martin all competed.

Buettner broke the women junior squat world record and Cameron broke the junior world record in deadlift.

Both placed first in their division.

Martin broke four Canadian records in the masters division (squat, deadlift , bench and total weight lifted).
