May 12, 2015 | 4:38 PM

The Vancouver Canucks announced Tuesday they’ve signed Raiders defenceman Mackenze Stewart.

The Canucks drafted Stewart in the seventh round, 186th overall in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. Stewart has played in 127 career games with the Raiders.

By signing, Stewart could start his professional career in the Canucks organization as soon as next year as he’ll enter his 20-year-old season.

If he returns to the Raiders, they’ll need to use one of their three overage spots to play him.

Raiders’ top two picks named to Sask First camp

The Sask First U16 summer camp roster was released on Tuesday and it includes the top-two Raiders draft picks, as well as three other players with local ties.

Cole Fonstad, who was picked fifth overall by the Raiders in the 2015 WHL Bantam Draft and Carson Miller, who went 20th overall to the Raiders, were both named on the roster.

Goaltender Jake Davidson and defenceman Layne Matechuk, who are both committed to the Prince Albert Mintos midget AAA hockey club for next season, are also named to the roster, as is Prince Albert’s Owen Ozar, who played with the Prince Albert Venice House Bantam AA Raiders for the last two seasons.
