Whiskey Tasting Night
Last year the Tri4 Kids partnership between St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church and local business groups managed to raise $59,399 to send 121 local children to summer camp.
This included children from Grade 1 to Grade 8 with partnerships including Riverside Community School, King George School, Berezowski School and PACI. Of course this could never have come together without the generous support of the groups key benefactor, Mr. Malcom Jenkins through the Malcom Jenkins Foundation providing $25,000 towards this cause.
This year, the organizers are planning an evening of good fellowship, delicious entrees, live entertainment and samplings of a variety of excellent Scotch Whiskeys along with providing all participants an opportunity to visit Prince Albert’s newest and very exciting Rock Trout Café. Cost for each ticket is $50. To purchase your ticket in advance contact Kim Jones at 306-960-2508 or kjones@srsd119.ca.
Please remember when a child goes to camp, everybody wins: the child, their families, the schools and the community. The Tri 4 Kids Committee also sponsors cultural camps in the fall which every child from K to Grade 8 can attend. These camps have a cost of $5,000 per school and this year the committee is expanding the programs to include PACI and Berezowski.
