A man charged in connection with the death of an 11-year-old boy on Muskoday First Nation pleaded not guilty at the Prince Albert Provincial Court on Monday.
Gordon Morris Crain entered the not guilty plea to a charge of impaired driving causing death.
He was arrested last July after he allegedly hit the young boy with his car. The child died shortly afterwards from his injuries in the hospital.
Crain will face a two-day preliminary hearing starting on Aug. 24, but there is no date set at this time for a trial.
