RCMP seize drugs and computers from Nipawin area home

Three people are facing drug related charges following a bust near Nipawin on Thursday.

The investigation began with the search for 25-year-old Marcel Beuker, who had an outstanding warrant for numerous breaches of release conditions stemming from a possession of child pornography charge in 2013. 

Police had received a tip which led them to the residence; officers would then obtain a search warrant and returned to the residence the next day.

Police found a large quantity of harvested marijuana inside the home, as well as 77 marijuana plants.

David Beuker, 56, and Zelda Beuker, 52, would be arrested as a result of the search.

Marcel Beuker appeared in Melfort Provincial Court on Thursday, and was remanded to appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court on Feb. 17th.

David and Zelda Beuker are scheduled to appear at Nipawin Provincial Court on March 4th.
