Building permits up slightly in Prince Albert

Prince Albert issued slightly more permits in January 2015 over the same month last year.

In January, the City issued three permits more – a total of 11 permits.

The City also issued three commercial permits, valued at $1.25 million dollars in January as well.

Chief building official Kim Johnson said the numbers are really small.

“It’s too early to see any kind of trend or anything though,” he said and added that the permits are weather driven.
