More Volunteer Opportunities at PAPHR

Volunteering is an essential part of a healthy community. In the Prince Albert Parkland Health Region, it brings untold benefits to the patients, residents and clients. The following opportunities are ways for local residents to contribute .
Cuddling & Play Therapy, Pediatric Ward – Victoria Hospital
Duties include cuddling lonesome children, assisting with play activities, reading, playing games, assisting with snacks, feeding children, etc.

Peer Navigator – Victoria Hospital.
Volunteers are needed to assist and support newly-diagnosed cancer patients through the network of health and support systems in place. Excellent interpersonal skills and a caring heart are necessary for this position.
Shifts: Flexible, as needed and agreed upon with the patient.
