Officer assault case pushed ahead

Feb 5, 2015 | 3:50 PM

A Prince Albert officer accused of misusing a weapon was able to stay away from court a second time after she was charged at the end of December.

Cst. Susan Noel Snell was charged with assault with pepper spray and put on administrative leave with Prince Albert Police Service (PAPS) over a month ago.

Her attendance in Prince Albert Provincial Court has now been waived twice by her lawyer, Aaron Fox, who has spoken to her case over the phone both times.

The charge relates to a July 2014 incident involving a man being held in the PAPS detention area.
