Buying a pint helps the food bank

Original Joe’s in Prince Albert is helping raise money for the food bank.

For the next four months, 50 cents from each featured pint goes to the Share-A-Meal Food Bank. 

“Thousands of Canadians depend on food banks every day to take care of themselves and their families. We just want to ensure they have the resources to support those in need,” said Regional Manager Jonathan Carrier.

The featured pint this term is the Red Ale brand, created by Big Rock Brewery.

Since 2010, the company has raised more than $275,000 through its Community Pint program for local causes.

For a limited time, when someone purchases a Miso Ramen bowl from the menu, a meal will be provided to someone in need at Share-A-Meal.  Half of the meals are provided locally, while the other half are provided to those in developing countries.
