Raiders defenceman on the bench again

Feb 3, 2015 | 3:37 PM

It’s another suspension for a Prince Albert Raiders defenceman.

MacKenze Stewart is off the bench for two games by the WHL for cross-checking and game misconduct for his confrontation with Calgary Hitmen’s Connor Rankin during Friday’s game.

They fell 10-1 to the Hitmen in that Friday game.

Stewart already served one game of his two-game suspension against Red Deer on Saturday, and won’t be in the lineup for Tuesday’s match against Regina.  He is expected to hit the ice again Wednesday against the Moose Jaw Warriors.
