It was an exciting and educational event for many children.

On Wednesday, the Wildlife Festival came to Prince Albert in partnership with The Canadian Raptor Conservancy, Little Ray’s Reptile Zoo and The Backyard Conservation Fund of Canada.  The ‘Wild Americas’ show at the Prince Albert Exhibition Centre featured several different species including birds of prey, mammals, reptiles and amphibians from all over the world, for the public to view and learn about.

Those in attendance had a chance to get up close and personal with some of the species as handlers showed off some of the key features of several snakes, birds, turtles and more.

Groups of children and their parents also learned about species at risk and how to act if you encounter them.
