Prince Albert RCMP investigate Buckland homicide
The Prince Albert RCMP is investigating a homicide.
On Saturday afternoon around 2:15 p.m. officers received a call that there was a dead body on a snowmobile trail 15 kilometres northwest of the city.
When officers went to investigate they discovered the body of a First Nation’s woman, who was pronounced dead on scene by a coroner.
Investigation led police to identify the body as that of 28-year-old Monica Lee Burns from Prince Albert.
