Jan 18-25, Christian Unity Week – January 18 marks the beginning of the week of prayer for Christian Unity! All parishes are encouraged to join with all Christian churches to pray together that evening and throughout the week. The Roman Catholic Diocese will be hosting a service on January 18 at Sacred Heart Cathedral at 7:30 pm. 

March 7, Diocesan Charismatic Renewal Committee Annual Conference – The annual conference will be held on Saturday, March 7 at St Michael Parish, Prince Albert.  Fr. Jim Kaptein will be sharing his testimonial. Although he loves the story of St Paul being knocked off his horse by God, his story based on family example is much different. Fr. Peter Nnanga will speak and strengthen us with ‘Joy Is Meant to Be Shared’. Bishop Albert Thévenot will speak on Christian Joy in the Family.  A joy-filled Christian family time for song, sharing, prayer, reconciliation and adoration. January 13, Conquest Program for boys/young men – will meet on Tuesdays at 6:30pm, beginning January 13.  For more information, visit www.conquestclubs.com or contact Joe Kawula at joe@pasoftware.ca or 306-960-8440.  Conquest is a Catholic youth ministry program for boys and young men grades 5 to 12. It is designed to instill virtue, develop character and encourage spiritual growth all in an atmosphere of fun and adventure. Conquest helps boys to reach their leadership potential and equips them to face and overcome the challenges of the world while making a positive difference.

March 20, Knights of Columbus State Men’s Spiritual Enrichment Weekend in Saskatoon – An opportunity to reflect on spreading the hope that is yours in our faith and to re-dedicate yourself to serve God, your parish and the community, open to all men of faith, bring your friends.  Speakers are State Chaplain, Bishop Albert Thévenot; Bishop Emeritus Gerald Wiesner, OMI; Rev. Jan 20, Feb 3, Feb 23, Perspectives on Religions and Spiritual Life, Prince Albert – Explore Lifelong Learning is made up of a group of volunteers who believe learning is a fun and life long process, all presentations are free of charge, no registration. January 23-25, Young Women’s Personal History Weekend Retreat – The Sisters of the Presentation of Mary are offering a weekend retreat for young, single, Catholic men and women 19 years and older.
