VIDEO: Fire at poultry operation near Martensville

A fire tore through a poultry barn near Martensville on Monday morning.
Crews from the Martensville, Warman and Dalmeny fire departments responded to the blaze at West Coast Poultry around 8:30 a.m. after receiving calls from drivers on Highway 12 who saw the smoke.
They found a barn with fire and smoke pouring out of it. Crews were able to get the blaze under control, but the barn itself was reportedly a total loss.
People at the scene reported that no chickens were being kept in the building at the time of the fire.
