Man killed by rolling school bus in Hazlet

A rolling school bus killed a man in Hazlet in southwest Saskatchewan.

On Wednesday, the 61-year-old was working underneath the empty school bus in a parking lot in the town which is northwest of Swift Current. The bus rolled onto the man.
 
First responders were called to the scene. The man was pronounced dead there.
 
The man was not the driver of the bus, which is owned by the Chinook School Division.
 
SGI will perform a mechanical inspection on the vehicle next week.

The man’s name is not being released by RCMP.
