Trial set after not guilty plea to dirty needle stickup
The case of man accused of holding up another with a dirty needle is heading to trial after pleading not guilty to robbery, assault with a weapon, and breach of probation.
The mid-February trial was set during a court appearance on Wednesday.
The charge was laid against Timothy Charles Turner in late November after an acquaintance told police he surrendered money and his gloves to Turner following the threat.
Prince Albert Police arrested the accused, 40-year-old Turner, days after a man reported he was walking home and threatened with a needle. According to police, Turner ran away after the incident, while the complainant was left unhurt.
