Deadly rollover near Yorkton on New Year’s Day

A 59-year-old man is dead after his truck rolled near Yorkton on New Year’s Day.
RCMP said the man’s truck crossed the centre line around 4:30 a.m. The truck ended up in the south ditch on Highway 52, just 12 kilometers west of Yorkton. The man was thrown from the truck as it rolled.
The man was taken to Yorkton’s hospital where he would later pass away.
Yorkton RCMP said alcohol was a factor in the collision.
The man’s family have asked that his name not be released.
