Predictions for 2015

Jan 1, 2015 | 11:07 AM

Jeff Richards is an intuitive and host of Paranormal on Rawlco Radio.

It’s impossible to tell for sure exactly what will happen in 2015, but he has made some predictions.

Weather:

  • After the extensive flooding of 2014, expect the opposite in 2015. It will be a dryer than normal year for farmers in Saskatchewan.

Economy:

  • A global upswing in the economy and prosperity. Gas prices will increase in the middle of 2015 to the high levels we saw in 2014.

Politics:

  • 2015 is the year of Justin Trudeau. The Liberal leader will win a majority in the federal election.

World:

  • There will be rumours or a real assassination attempt on U.S. President Barack Obama. Richards said it will happen in April but the public won’t find out until the fall.
  • Increased tension between Russia and Ukraine is going to spur a massive technologically-based global conflict.
  • A major disaster off the coast of South America in August. Most likely near Venezuela.
  • Prince William and Duchess of Cambridge will give birth to a baby girl named Victoria.

Science:

  • Technology starting to fuse with biology leading to more use of 3D printing to create organs and tissues.

Sports:

  •  The New England Patriots will win Super Bowl XLIX.

Entertainment:

  •  Julianne Moore will win her first Oscar.
  •  Beyonce and Jay-Z will split late in the year.
