P.A. charities looking for warm clothing donations

Parkland Ambulance and the Raiders are working together to support local charities.

At 7 p.m. on Saturday night the Raiders will face off against the Blades at the Art Hauser Centre.

Prior to the game at 6 p.m. Parkland Ambulance paramedics will be accepting donations as part of their fourth annual Winter Gear Collection Night.

Lyle Karasiuk with Parkland Ambulance said they originally started by collecting mittens and toques but they have now started looking for any new or gently used, scarfs, gloves, blankets, or coats as well.  

All donations will be distributed to groups or organizations in need around Prince Albert.

Karasiuk said if anyone is unable to make it to the game they can always drop off items at Parkland Ambulance located at 225 24 Street West.
