Police investigate brutal morning assault

Prince Albert Police are investigating a brutal assault that happened in the city.

On Tuesday morning Police were called to a residence in the 400 block of 20th Street East for a disturbance.

When they arrived they found an unconscious 26-year-old man inside the home.

Parkland Ambulance paramedics were immediately alerted and brought the man to Victoria Hospital with life threatening injuries.

The man has since been taken to Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon.

Police have arrested a 27-year-old man in relation to the assault and are currently still investigating.
