Mintos 3-1 win takes them into Christmas break

Prince Albert Mintos fans will have to hang onto the winning feeling after a Saturday night game against the Swift Current Legionairres for a few weeks.

The Saturday night game at the Art Hauser Centre was the last pre-Christmas game for the Mintos.

The 3-1 game for the Mintos saw them bounce back from a single first-period goal by the Swift Current Legionnaires.

The Mintos put two between the pipes in the second, and one in the third.

Reed Gunville, Brett Harasymuk, and Josh Roberts scored one each.

Brett Harasymuk was name First Star of the game, while Swift Current’s Chantz Vinck was name the second.

Their next game is Jan. 13, 2014 against the Tisdale Trojans.
