Marauders boys team bring home basketball gold

The St. Mary High School senior boys basketball team captured the fifth annual Saskatoon Centennial Charger Charity Classic this past weekend.
They defeated Saskatoon’s Tommy Douglas Collegiate 94-33 in the quarterfinal. In the semi-final, they beat Saskatoon Legacy Academy 77-52. In the final, they beat Saskatoon’s Aden Bowman Collegiate 102-76.
The senior girls basketball team finished in fourth place at the Warman tournament this weekend.
Seven St. Mary curling teams participated at the fifth annual Prince Albert High School Curling Christmas Classic. The top finishing teams were the mixed team, with skip Melanie Heleta. They lost in the A-semi final. Boys team No. 2, with skip Zach Beaulac, lost in the B final. Boys team No. 1, with skip David Moerike, lost in the C final.
