Prince Albert’s Brittany Hudak is off to a great start on the world cup Paralympic ski circuit.

The 21 year old captured a bronze medal at the season opening event in Finland. She covered the 5-kilometre standing distance in 17:28.02 and is thrilled with the result.

“It’s a pretty exciting day being on the podium for the first time at a world cup.” said Hudak. “I was pushing hard and able to keep my mental focus. It was just great to see an awesome result at the end of the race.”

Head Coach Robin McKeever said it’s encouraging to see Brittany make steady progress.
