After a couple of weeks of rumours, it’s been confirmed. The Riders will have a new defensive co-ordinator next season.
Head coach Corey Chamblin announced on Tuesday that long-time Rider coach Richie Hall won’t be in his current role as head of the defence next season. Chamblin did suggest that Hall has been offered another role within the organzation but couldn’t say what the role would be just yet.
Hall will explore his options elsewhere but would consider returning to the Riders should he not find the right job.
Chamblin also suggested rumours of other coaching changes are untrue at this point. All remaining staff remain under contract with the team.
