Three Riders make All-Star cut
Three Riders have been named 2014 CFL All-Stars.
The league announced on Thursday that offensive lineman Brendon LaBatte, defensive end John Chick and safety Tyron Brackenridge have been voted CFL All-Stars for their work this season.
LaBatte finished up his seventh season in the CFL and third in Green and White. He played in 15 games this season. It’s the third time LaBatte has been named an All-Star, also being named to the team in 2011 and 2013.
Chick set new career highs in his fifth season in the CFL with 15 sacks, 11 tackles for the loss and 45 tackles overall. Chick was named the CFL’s defensive player of the month for July and August. Chick was also named an All-Star in 2009.
