Two dead following winter condition-related collision

The bad winter weather claimed two lives in northern Saskatchewan on Friday night.

Beauval RCMP attended the scene of a fatal collision south of Beauval at an intersection on Highway 155.

A 50-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman were pronounced dead on the scene by emergency officials.

A 26-year-old man who was driving one of the vehicles and another person were taken to Ile a la Crosse Hospital with undetermined injuries.

So far details are limited however RCMP believe that road conditions due to bad weather was a main factor in the collision.

RCMP officers from Green Lake and Ile a la Crosse were on scene to assist in the investigation.
