Sask. Party keeps Lloydminster seat in byelection
The SaskParty has a fresh face to represent it in the Lloydminster riding.
Colleen Young won the seat for the party in a byelection held on Thursday.
The byelection was held following Tim McMillan’s resignation from the provincial legislation. The former MLA announced in September that he would be leaving politics to join the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers as its new president.
Young took the seat with 64 per cent. She has been a school board trustee in Lloydminster since 1991 and was currently serving as the public school division’s director.
