Pedestrian in serious condition after midnight collision

A woman is in serious, but stable condition after being struck by a vehicle on Highway 11.
Parkland Ambulance paramedics cared for her and she has since been transferred to Royal University Hospital.
The incident occurred at midnight on Tuesday.
On Wednesday at 10:48 p.m. paramedics responded to a second collision on Hwy 11 near MacDowall.
No injuries were reported.
