Late night crash damages fire hydrant

On Sunday morning around 2 a.m. the driver of a Jeep Grand Cherokee crashed into a stop sign and a fire hydrant, at the corner of Central Avenue and 22 Street.
The impact almost ripped the hydrant out of the ground.
Prince Albert police said they have charged a 26-year-old man with impaired driving and exceeding .08 blood alcohol level.
Officials say there were no serious injuries that resulted from the accident.
