Excavator goes for a swim

City Crews hope to remove a large piece of equipment from the water today near the Prince Albert Airport.

An excavator, working near the Little Red River Bridge, along Highway 55, ran into some trouble Friday morning.

The excavator slid into the water.

After repeated attempts to pull himself out, the operator dug himself deeper and deeper into difficulty.

There were no injuries.
