Executive Director Retires from Community Service Centre

The Prince Albert and District Community Service Centre, (CSC) announces the retirement of its 37-year employee Executive Director, Merv Bender. 

The Prince Albert and District Community Service Centre provides a wide range of social services for Prince Albert residents and has done so since its formation in 1968. The agency works with many community partners and volunteers to achieve its organizational mandate.

“On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Community Service Centre,” Gloria Mahussier, Board Chair said, “it is with mixed feelings of happiness and sadness we are saying good bye to a senior member of our organization. We thank Merv for his wealth of experience, leadership and commitment to the Centre and our community.” 

Merv Bender’s leadership contributions to our community and the non-profit community will be recognized at the annual general meeting held on June 18, 2015.

As part of its succession plan, the CSC is seeking visionary Executive Director candidates who possess strong leadership and executive capabilities. The Executive Director will continue the CSC’s work to create a positive impact on the quality of life of individuals and families in our community who the Centre serves.
