Bears sweep Rebels; Vance sets records

The Prince Albert A&W Bears completed the two game sweep over the Regina Rebels this weekend with a 4-1 win Saturday at the Art Hauser Centre.

After leading 2-1 heading into the third, the Bears scored two goals in the third to increase their lead. Sierra Parenteau scored her first career Midget AAA goal to make it a 4-1 game.

Jessica Vance picked up both wins for the Bears in goal, stopping 41 of 42 pucks she saw in both games.

On Friday, the Bears beat the Rebels 1-0, with Vance picking up her 13^th career shutout—a Saskatchewan Female Midget AAA Hockey League record. Rebels goaltender Tatum Shand, who played both games this weekend, has 12 in her career.

Vance also now has the most career wins with 40 and has played the most games with 80.
