Give a Little Life Fundraisers

Fundraising for the Victoria Hospital/Rawlco Radio’s Give a Little Life Day Radio-a-thon is underway.

Three local fundraisers are Liam’s Give a Little Life Fundriaser (9 year old musician busking Friday Nights in Birch Hills to raise money), Parnter’s Furniture Donating from the sale of each Lift Chair and fundraising from Prince Albert’s Catholic School Division where participating Catholic Schools will be competing in a ‘poster’ contest to decorate the pediatric department and cheer the sick children
as well as fundraising for the nursery and pediatric units. Prizes include a class pizza partyand ambulance ride sponsored and hosted by Parkland Ambulance. Top Student Fundraiser will win a movie night for four friends, an ambulance ride with Parkland Ambulance and a chance to present their donation live on the radio during the radio-a-thon in December.

The annual radio-a-thon hosted every year by Rawlco Radio,is scheduled for Friday,December 5, 2014 and will aim to raise $400,000 for the Victoria Regional Hospital’s nursery
and pediatric units.

Our hospital takes care of a large area reaching to Fond du Lac, Wollaston and Stony Rapids,and offers support to 52 surrounding communities including 12 First
Nations. The Victoria Regional Hospital delivers over 1500 babies a year and over 1000 sick children are admitted to pediatrics annually.
