Saskatoon hit and run sends pedestrian to hospital

A man is in hospital after an early morning hit and run.

Police said they received a call around 3:20 a.m. that a man had been left injured near 32nd Street West and Idylwyld Drive North.

The man was walking southbound on the sidewalk when a vehicle, also headed southbound, hit him before taking off.

Police said the only description of the vehicle is a small white SUV or truck.

The pedestrian was brought to Royal University Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
